IRC International Motocross Championship 2012 first series was held on Sunday, 01 April 2012 at AHRS Circuit, Depok, West Java. Hundreds of crosser fought over a championship trophy in each category on this event.
This first series was opened by the chief of PPIMI, Komjen Polisi Nanan Sukarna, who stated that crosser should have guts in this high adrenaline kind of racing. Just like PPIMI motto, speeding and world class, crosser should riding their motorbike in high speed, should not slowing down on the turns, and able to compete with international crosser.
There were 11 classes which consist of MX2 International, MX2 National, Special Engine 85cc, Special Engine 65cc, MX2-Junior, Special Engine 50 cc, Special Engine 65 Novice, MX2 Novice, Special Engine 125-Ex Pro, Special Engine 125-Executive dan Special Engine 125 – Consulation.
1.2 KM soiled track AHRS Circuit that belong to Asep Hendro classified as a difficult and extreme circuit. The tracks were varied, from slantways to extreme down hills. The heavy rain that poured down had made the race became even more attractive and challenging.
In MX2 International category, Indonesian crosser Farhan Hendro from Cargloss AHRS IRC team and Agi Agasi came out as second and third winner, whereas Australian crosser Nick Sutherland from Husqvarna Evalube INK IRC team had came out as first winner.
